Fight for it

Jude 1:3
Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

Contend- also means to fight!!!!

We are told to fight for our faith. That let’s us know that there will be opposition that comes to steal our faith.
It’s not going to come easy. Roll up your sleeves. Dig your heels in.
If need be get the Vaseline, take your earrings off and get in the ring!!!!

Everything is depending on it. What has God told you? What has God shown you?
What are you believing God for you??
Words have been spoken over you. What prophesies have been spoken?
What words of knowledge?

FIGHT!!!!!!!
Get up!!! Stop whining. You don’t have time to cry. Ok, you got knocked down. Get up!!!
Dust yourself off. Go and get it.
Go and get your stuff!!!!
Get mad about it!!!!

Greasy Grace

Every day we as Christians live our lives for ourselves. But our lives are not our own. We are to reach the lost for Christ. Mark 16:15-And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

But sometimes we don’t pay attention to the sloppy way that we live our everyday lives. We are Christ’s representatives. A lot of times it’s not the scriptures we quote that people listen to. It’s our day to day conversations we think no ones paying attention to. How many times has our witness been compromised because we didn’t lift up a standard? We are called to be set apart.
1 Thessalonians 5:22-Abstain from all appearance of evil.
Hebrews 12:12-Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;
Hebrews 12:13-And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.
As Christians we have been given a great responsibility; it’s our living right that will draw men to Christ. The world is watching us.
They should want the God we say we serve.
I’m not in any way condemning any one but I am saying; ” we all really need to clean it up”
If people are comfortable saying just any ole’ thing around you or if they are comfortable just doing any ole’ thing around you- something’s just not right. Their should be a difference about us.
Their should be something about us that makes one say, ” I don’t know what it is but their is just something about you”
Time is short and He’s coming back!!!! He’ll teach us how to live holy. He’ll teach us how to walk upright. He’ll teach us how to win the lost.
Fall in love with Him and allow Him to change your life.

The Call

I’m yours. I’m yours forever. I lay down myself and all that I am. My thoughts, my hopes, my desires. I give you my life. My soul was thirsty. From you, Lord, I freely drink. No longer in my comfort zone. I decided to trust the plan you have for my life. Living surrendered that is what I’m now about. One day I heard you calling. I came and knelt at your feet. You said my sins are forgiven, now run and tell someone else.
My savior Jesus.
{Singing} Living He loved me. Dying He saved me. Buried He carried my sins far away. Rising He justified freely forever. One day He’s coming, O glorious day!!!
Today if you don’t know Him; He’s only one prayer away.

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock:if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
Hebrews 3:15-
While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.
I’m not talking about religion. Or a bunch of rules and regulations. I’m talking about a relationship with God, who gave His Son so that you can call Him Abba. The maker of heaven and earth. He loves you.
Today will you give Him your life? We don’t serve a book!!! He’s a living God!!
This is a friendship. You don’t have to do it alone.
Come!!! All are welcome. No matter what you’ve done. You can respond to this truth.
Romans 10:9
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Father,
I thank you for your relentless pursuit of our hearts.
Thank you Lord for salvation.

Secret Closet

Matthew 6:6
But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

My conversations with my father are in secret,I’ve asked Him for some remarkable things. And in asking I’ve learned to wait in expectation. Not for His answer but for the tangible manifestation.
You see when I pray I know He hears me and answers me immediately. I’m sure of that.

Psalms 116:1
I love the Lord, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.
Psalms 6:9
The Lord hath heard my supplication;the Lord will receive my prayer.
Psalms 66:19
But verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer.
Psalms 66:20
Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer,
nor his mercy from me.
Psalms 118:21
I will praise thee:for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.
Psalms 18:6
In my distress I called upon the Lord,and cried unto my God:he heard my voice out of his temple,
and my cry came before him, even into his ears.
I have learned what Paul meant when he said; Philippians 4:11
Not that I speak in respect of want:for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
I’m finally content!!! No more anxiety over why hasn’t it happened yet. I’m resting.
Hebrews 4:10
For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
I don’t have to make it happen. I don’t have to figure out how it’s going to happen. I have come to the end of myself.
God has said it and He will make it good. I simply trust in the one who has said it.

I’m about to switch it up. That old way of doing things is dead for me. I’ve been given the “keys” to The Kingdom. I’m not a bastard. I’m a son/daughter of the Most High God. Creator of heaven and earth. It’s in my mouth. I’ve been given delegated authority. If I say it, He’ll back me!!! If I’ll make a decision He’ll back me!!
I can’t go back now. I know to much.
I’m a joint heir with Jesus Christ. I’ve read that verse of scripture over and over. But until I read it from a legal stand point , only then did I really get it. The word covenant within itself is a dynamo. The word covenant according to the Merriam Webster’s online dictionary means-” a binding agreement” and when I looked up that word binding- it means imposing an obligation. My God!!!
Holy Spirit is teaching me so much. I could run around my neighborhood backwards right now…
I’m walking in victory!! I don’t know about you but I’m claiming realms, dimensions and territories for The Kingdom.
As Christians we have the victory but many of us are not walking victoriously. Jesus died and rose again so that I may live and live shalom. Whole!!! With nothing missing, nothing broken.
Not another worry!!! I’m trusting God to show me how to do what He wants to get done. I’ll do it His way.
I will no longer say, I don’t know. But Father thank you for wisdom in all situations and the correct application to bring your perfect will to pass.
I refuse to be a daughter of The King and remain in a pit.

Matthew 15:28
Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith:be it unto thee even as thou wilt.

It’s funny how

It’s funny how we always go to God and tell Him what we need as if He doesn’t already know what we have need of. Could it be because we think He’s really not paying attention? Or do we think God likes playing sick little jokes on us? Like He’s dangling a carrot in front of us.
Matthew 6:8
Be not ye therefore like unto them:for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
According to His word, He already knows. Then why aren’t we more confident in His promises to us? Isn’t His past history of working it out for us good enough? Or do we need miracles everyday?
Why can’t we just think back and remember how He has always faithfully brought us through?
All that we have need of, He’s already provided.
Matthew 6:26
Behold the fowls of the air:for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
Matthew 6:27
Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
