Grace to Conceive

I have a strong disdain for the term, “trying to conceive”

I know I’ll probably get slammed for saying that, but ,please let me explain. Or at least try to.

As a believer I am not trying to obtain what’s already been made available to me. In reading so many Christian message boards and support group chats that’s what I keep seeing over and over again. Believers striving and struggling to conceive. Hoping and wishing. Laying the word down every month they get their period or have a negative pregnancy test.
From the inside, I scream NOOOOOOOO!!!!! That’s not Gods best for you.

Every time I see or hear the term trying to conceive I get so agitated because that’s mixing doubt with faith. And we do it without even knowing it. That leaves us without our desired result, the manifestation of our children. Doubt is canceling out the faith.

In Genesis 1:3 God told light to Be, not try to become.

You don’t hear people say, I’m trying to get healed.
Well in fact that’s what infertility , sterility and barrenness are; it’s a form of sickness in the male/female reproductive organs.

But for far to long it has not been seen that way. It has been perceived as this huge insurmountable odd. We have ranked sickness and disease into an order as if the blood of Jesus has to work harder on something’s more than others.
And we have been trying to climb this Mount Everest type mountain when in fact
Isaiah 53:5 and 1 Peter 2:24 both say that by His stripes we were healed.

Isaiah 53:5
But he was wounded for our transgressions,
he was bruised for our iniquities:
the chastisement of our peace was upon him;
and with his stripes we are healed.

1 Peter 2:24
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness:by whose stripes ye were healed.

I keep seeing woman out of desperation begging God for children.
Yes, I understand it. Yes, at one point I was doing it to, until I found out what belonged to me. Until I found out that children were apart of the redemptive works of Jesus. Until I made up my mind to believe God.

Galatians 3:13
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us:for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

All the curses in the Old Testament, Jesus at the cross took care of for us. We know Him as a Savior but far to many Christians don’t know Him as a healer, as their redeemer or as a restorer.

We don’t have to beg God for anything. He’s already made it available to us to receive.

As believers we are” believing God for our children “we are not in anyway trying to conceive.

Romans 12:2
And be not conformed to this world:but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

We must renew our minds and let the word of God transform our way of thinking.

No matter if you are receiving fertility treatments or if you can not afford it; it is God who opens the barren womb.
No matter if you have tubal blockages or if you don’t have Fallopian tubes at all; it is God who implants the egg into the womb.
No matter if you have a womb or don’t have a womb; it is God who will hold your baby secure in you while you carry them to deliver.
No matter if you are past the age the world recommends for child bearing; it is God who will allow your body to receive and carry your baby(ies)
No matter if you have eggs in your egg reserve or not it is God who will increase your eggs.
No matter if you have a low sperm count or not it is God who will increase your sperm. You have viable healthy eggs and sperm.

Genesis 18:14
Is any thing too hard for the Lord?

Exodus 23:26
There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land:the number of thy days I will fulfil.

Isaiah 66:9
Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the Lord:
shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.

It is God who made you, and the word says that
Psalms 139:14
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made:
marvellous are thy works;
and that my soul knoweth right well.

We are intricately and intrinsically designed by our creator. The very stitch of our frames; He knows so intimately that HE knows the very number of hairs on our heads.

Luke 12:7
But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore:ye are of more value than many sparrows.
Matthew 10:30
But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

He is in fact God! Undoubtably and undeniably God! He spoke into nothing and created everything that we see. He created us individually and distinctively

Psalms 139:15
My substance was not hid from thee,
when I was made in secret,
and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
Psalms 139:16
Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect;
and in thy book all my members were written,
which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.

Before we were formed in our mothers womb, God knew us. Our days were written out in the book of life. So much care and consideration was put into the very thought of us. With a gentleness and a love we will never fully comprehend has He made us.

Psalms 139:17
How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God!
how great is the sum of them!
Psalms 139:18
If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand:
when I awake, I am still with thee.

He thinks about us so much that if we could count the grains of sand, His thoughts of us would still out number them.

So know this, He’s our Abba!!! We are His children. Trust Him for our birthright; it is more than a promise, it’s a provision. Only believe!!!!! Lay your desire down and give it to Jesus. You’ve been carrying it long enough, holding on so tight. Relax this morning. Today let God be God and trust Him for your babies. When’s the last time you’ve made love to your spouse without an agenda? When’s the last time you’ve just enjoyed where you are with your spouse?

My intention is not to bring condemnation on anyone. My purest hope is that this post will be received with the love in which it was written.

Hebrews 11:11

Heb 11:11 Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.

I read this verse from the Strong’s Concordance, the word strength was in a hyperlink so I opened it to see what it said;

force (literally or figuratively); specially, miraculous power (usually by implication, a miracle itself):–ability, abundance, meaning, might(-ily, -y, -y deed), (worker of) miracle(-s), power, strength, violence, mighty (wonderful) work.

The strength that Sarah received was actually strength power, ability; power for performing miracles.

My God!! Her faith was the bridge that gave her the power to receive strength power. Because she judged Him faithful. It was His faithfulness. It definitely wasn’t hers because until God got her believing right she laughed at the thought of conceiving in her old age.

Genesis 18:12
Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?

But in the next two verses we see how God answered her doubt,
Genesis 18:13
And the Lord said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old?

Genesis 18:14
Is any thing too hard for the Lord? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.

After that conversation we don’t see anything else about Sarah doubting again. And in the book of faith Hebrews 11, Sarah is counted among the ones of great faith. Her doubt wasn’t even counted against her. ( That’s a whole other topic within itself)

Over and over we read in the bible, Jesus saying, “Go in peace, your faith has made thee whole”

Mark 5:34
And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.

Luke 7:50
And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.

Luke 8:48
And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort:thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.

Matthew 9:22
But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.

Luke 18:42
And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight:thy faith hath saved thee.

This morning what is your faith doing for you? Have you given your faith an assignment? Or do you have it on a shelf collecting dust?

As born again believers our faith is an integral part of receiving anything from The Kingdom of God.

The word says that we can’t even please Him without faith.

Hebrews 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please him:for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

By faith we believe:

Ephesians 2:8
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:it is the gift of God:

Hebrews 11:3
Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

Our faith is the catalyst that positions us to receive what grace has already made available to us.

To all the ones believing God for your children; by faith receive your strength today!!!! Receive strength power. Receive your supernatural enablement. Dust off your faith. Give it an assignment, put it to work for you.

I know that I’ve focused on married couples believing God for children but this is a Kingdom Principle that must be applied to every situation. Rest in what Jesus has already done. It is finished. Believe it! It’s yours!

Fully Persuaded

Have you ever been asleep and it seems like you’re reading the word of God in your sleep?
That’s what happened to me this morning. To be totally honest its been happening a lot lately.
But, as I was woke up this morning I began to realize that it has been God bringing His word before me.
I know it’s been said over and over, so much so that it is almost cliche’ ish (yes I made up a word)
But, God is faithful!!!!!!

I’m beginning to know God in a whole new way, it’s hard for me to articulate what I mean by that but He’s revealing Himself to me in ways that I have not known.

I’ve been standing on the promise of God for my children for years now, and when it seems like I want to give up and wave the white flag of surrender; He whispers in my ear and says ” I got you”!!!!

The scripture that Holy Spirit gives to me is Romans 4.
I’ve found my place of rest. After all my years of struggling to make it happen on my own and trying to conceive; doing everything from charting, ovulation kits, fertility doctors, etc. etc. etc.
this morning I realize that I will have my children and I will not know when, I lay the when down at the finished works of Jesus. I am a mother of many children!!

Psalms 139:15
My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.

I don’t have the responsibility to get me pregnant or bring God’s word to pass in my life. I’ve prayed. I’ve confessed. I believe!!! I receive!!! Now I’m thankful and I give thanks. I’m breaking forth on the right and the left making room for what I have prayed.

I know that it will happen: suddenly, quickly, without warning and in a hurry!!!!

Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out; you formed me in my mother’s womb.
I thank you, High God—you’re breathtaking! Body and soul, I am marvelously made!
I worship in adoration—what a creation! You know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something.
Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before you, The days of my life all prepared before I’d even lived one day. (Psalm 139:13-16 MSG)

The Message

Lately I’ve been reading from The MSG bible. Even though I have always favored the KJV ; I’m finding myself really loving this translation as well. When reading it I feel like I’m having a conversation with an old friend. I’ve actually caught myself LOL as if sharing a private joke. That’s joy in reading the word.
I know that there has been heavy controversy surrounding The MSG but we are not here to get into theological debates. So lets begin.

This morning I wanted to share with you my morning devotion, it’s from James 1:1-27.

I, James, am a slave of God and the Master Jesus, writing to the twelve tribes scattered to Kingdom Come:
Hello! (James 1:1 Msg)

Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way. (James 1:2-4 MSG)

If you don’t know what you’re doing, pray to the Father. He loves to help. You’ll get his help, and won’t be condescended to when you ask for it. Ask boldly, believingly, without a second thought. People who “worry their prayers” are like wind-whipped waves. Don’t think you’re going to get anything from the Master that way, adrift at sea, keeping all your options open. (James 1:5-8 MSG)

When down-and-outers get a break, cheer! And when the arrogant rich are brought down to size, cheer! Prosperity is as short-lived as a wildflower, so don’t ever count on it. You know that as soon as the sun rises, pouring down its scorching heat, the flower withers. Its petals wilt and, before you know it, that beautiful face is a barren stem. Well, that’s a picture of the “prosperous life.” At the very moment everyone is looking on in admiration, it fades away to nothing. (James 1:9-11 MSG)

Anyone who meets a testing challenge head-on and manages to stick it out is mighty fortunate. For such persons loyally in love with God, the reward is life and more life. (James 1:12 MSG)

Don’t let anyone under pressure to give in to evil say, “God is trying to trip me up.” God is impervious to evil, and puts evil in no one’s way. The temptation to give in to evil comes from us and only us. We have no one to blame but the leering, seducing flare-up of our own lust. Lust gets pregnant, and has a baby: sin!
Sin grows up to adulthood, and becomes a real killer. (James 1:13-15 MSG)

So, my very dear friends, don’t get thrown off course. Every desirable and beneficial gift comes out of heaven. The gifts are rivers of light cascading down from the Father of Light. There is nothing deceitful in God, nothing two-faced, nothing fickle. He brought us to life using the true Word, showing us off as the crown of all his creatures. (James 1:16-18 MSG)

Post this at all the intersections, dear friends: Lead with your ears, follow up with your tongue, and let anger straggle along in the rear. God’s righteousness doesn’t grow from human anger. So throw all spoiled virtue and cancerous evil in the garbage. In simple humility, let our gardener, God, landscape you with the Word, making a salvation-garden of your life. (James 1:19-21 MSG)

Don’t fool yourself into thinking that you are a listener when you are anything but, letting the Word go in one ear and out the other. Act on what you hear! Those who hear and don’t act are like those who glance in the mirror, walk away, and two minutes later have no idea who they are, what they look like. (James 1:22-24 MSG)

But whoever catches a glimpse of the revealed counsel of God—the free life!—even out of the corner of his eye, and sticks with it, is no distracted scatterbrain but a man or woman of action. That person will find delight and affirmation in the action. (James 1:25 MSG)

Anyone who sets himself up as “religious” by talking a good game is self-deceived. This kind of religion is hot air and only hot air. Real religion, the kind that passes muster before God the Father, is this: Reach out to the homeless and loveless in their plight, and guard against corruption from the godless world. (James 1:26, 27 MSG)

Wasn’t that just refreshing?!?
This is so on point with what we’ve been talking about. Believing God for anything is going to undoubtably put our faith on display. Pressure will come and like the writer says here, “You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors”

But God is not the one trying to trip us up. That temptation comes from the enemy. Remember that! Hold on to your faith! Don’t let it go!

Stand and continue standing. Don’t forfeit what you’ve been believing God for. Dig your heels in and fight for it.
When discouragement tries to rear its ugly head reading different translations of the bible helps to freshen my faith.
I pray that this morning your faith is revived and renewed.

Believing to See

As I sit here its so quite, all I hear is the tick tock of the clock and the gentle hum of my refrigerator. Most of the world here on the East Coast is sleeping as snow is covering every thing on the outside. But, I’m so blessed to be in my warm safe home, still with electricity. God takes great care of me. He satisfies me with all good things. He has taught me to trust in Him. I can not say that has always been the case with me. For so long I wavered in my belief. Going back and forth tossed with the wind.

Thank God, He was gentle and patient with me. I know Him in His mercy and steadfast love. How His grace and mercy has kept me from destruction. I’ve been hard headed, stubborn and disobedient. And yet still, He saw fit to bless me. When I look back over my life and get glimpses of how it could of been, how it should have been but how He kept me and I didn’t get what I deserve. How His hand has been mighty upon my life, I’m humbled to tears at His amazing love for me.

I testify of His goodness because truly;
“Great is Thy faithfulness!” “Great is Thy faithfulness!“
Morning by morning new mercies I see;
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided—
“Great is Thy faithfulness,” Lord, unto me!

I can sing this for myself, because I know for myself how He has kept me!!!! No one has to push me or prod me to praise Him. I know Him not as my mothers God, or my husbands God but I know Him as my God!!!! Now like David I say:

Psalms 27:13
I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

My lips will never fail to give Him praise!

I lay it all at His feet and surrender all.

I know we’ve been talking about believing God for children but today I had to just give Him praise. I want Him to know that I’m thankful and I give Him thanks. I’m grateful!!!!
Today I give Him the fruit of my lips. I just have so much to be thankful for.
Praise Ye Lord!!!! I will bless The Lord at all times, His praise will continually be in “MY” mouth!!!!
Glory to God!!!! Hallelujah!!!

Today, think back on how He has brought you over in the past. Get a glimpse of it. Now know that He did it for you before.
And He hasn’t changed. He will do it again!!!!!

From prayer to manifestation

Today we have a lot of ground to cover so let’s jump right in.

Often when we pray there will be a period in between. Not always but in certain situations. During that in between is called time. Or having to wait for the manifestation of what we’ve prayed.

man·i·fes·ta·tion noun \ˌma-nə-fə-ˈstā-shən, -ˌfe-ˈstā-\
1. a sign that shows something clearly
2. An indication of the existence, reality, or presence of something:

This can be tricky because we as Christians have an adversary. Yes, it’s true. he’s very real. And his job is to bring opposition to what God says. his main objective is to get us to doubt what God says is true.
God doesn’t work in time. But if the enemy can get you out of faith and in your flesh, he will wear you out with time. he’s trying to get you to give up, cave in and quit. he can’t take the word from you but if he can get you to walk away from it, you will forfeit the word yourself.
So often we walk away because it looks like it is never going to happen. We must stop looking at what we see with our natural eyes and see through our spirit. Because until we can see it in our spirit we will never see it in the physical.

2 Corinthians 5:7
(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

The bible calls him by many names, I refer to him mostly by the enemy. But the bible clearly says in Philippians 4:6-(KJV)
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Don’t just read that scripture. Break it apart, some translations read be anxious for nothing. Sometimes when we want something it is so easy to become anxious. We have become so conditioned to not wanting to wait. We’ve become so impatient. I mean really everything in this world we can get in 30 minutes or less. But,The Kingdom of God doesn’t work like that. The word says by prayer and supplication – hold on WITH thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

Did you know that there was a such thing as a prayer of thanksgiving? It’s when you began to thank God for the answer before you see it with your natural eye. I mean there’s no tangible sign of its existence. You can’t see it, touch it, feel it or taste it. In that moment began to thank God for it. Began to thank him for what he’s already done. This takes a bold brash faith. But, you’ve got it in you. Some of you maybe thinking, ” I don’t have anything to thank God for”, but ,I would argue that point because if you are reading this for yourself without anyone reading it for you that means 1. You are alive 2. You are breathing 3. You can see, you’re not blind. Are you holding a phone or tablet? 4. You have the use of your limbs. I’d dare to say that we are off to a good start on having much to thank God for. If you would just start ; before you know it you will have a whole complete list. Why don’t you get a pen and a piece of paper? Write down a list of things you are thankful for. Let your eyes see them. Let your ears hear them. Open up your mouth speak them out loud.
How we look at things is our problem. We look at what we’ve lost instead of looking at what’s left. Our perception is off. All that takes is a realignment of focus. Praise & Thanksgiving is a mighty weapon in the mouth of a person of faith. Yield it!!! Use it!!!

Philippians 4:7
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

This is the result of Phillipians 4:6. It’s step 2. When we don’t allow anxiety to set in but instead pray to God making our requests known the peace of God will come in. And this peace will go beyond all human comprehension.

Philippians 4:8
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Step #3- tells us what to think on. Things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, things that are of good report. In Gods infinite love letter to us he gives us step by step instructions for our battle plan. He gives us cheat notes. If we would just follow the instructions.
Because there is a war for our minds. And the battle is won or lost between our ears.
There’s no way around it. You are going to have to feed your faith. Contrary to popular belief we do not remain at the same level of faith all the time.
Think about it, we all ate dinner yesterday and were full. But if we don’t eat again tonight we will be hungry again. We can’t get full off yesterday’s food today. It doesn’t work like that. As it is in the natural so is it in the spiritual.

The enemy is coming to snatch the word of faith that you’ve heard and received. We fight back with our spiritual weapons (Ephesians 6:11-19)

Another very important key is our mouth. We have to speak in line with what we’ve prayed. But more often than not we speak against it and negate the prayers that we’ve prayed. Which brings heaven to a gut wrenching screeching hault. Heaven responds to our faith.

Hebrews 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please him:for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Remember we are in partnership with God. We are synchronized to heavens rhythms and that’s done with our words.

Proverbs 6:2
Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.

Proverbs 18:21
Death and life are in the power of the tongue:and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

So many times we change partners and don’t even know it. What do I mean by that? We are going to be in partnership with either God or the enemy. And our words are the gate into which we activate what’s going on in our lives. We are speaking what is happening in our lives for good or bad. Either we are speaking faith filled words (Gods words) or we are speaking death and condemnation( the enemies words)
Our mouth is the KEY that unlocks what we see in our life. The enemy has so confused and blinded us to our speech. We say things are bad but mean that they are good. We’ve taken negative words and tried to make them have a positive meaning.
That’s not God’s way. The bible calls that corrupt speech.

Ephesians 4:29 ESV
Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.

Matthew 15:11 ESV
It is not what goes into the mouth that defiles a person, but what comes out of the mouth; this defiles a person.”

Proverbs 18:20-21 ESV
From the fruit of a man’s mouth his stomach is satisfied; he is satisfied by the yield of his lips. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.

We must learn to speak the word ONLY!!!!! Sometimes we may not be able to say anything at all. Because once we pray if we say anything that goes against that prayer we have to start all over again. Remember in the beginning we talked about the time in between our prayer to the fulfillment of manifestation? A lot of the reason for that is the words we are speaking. It’s not God who is making us wait. I know that’s a hard pill to swallow. It’s easier to just blame it all on God.

Remember I referred to Gods word as a cheat sheet? Well here is a missing component that many of us have missed or greatly under valued. Are you ready for it? It’s almost to simple.

Psalms 116:10
I believed, therefore have I spoken:

2 Corinthians 4:13
We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

Speak forth out loud out of your mouth what you believe. Because the bible says we can have what we say:

Mark 11:23
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Tonight lets do some homework. Did she say homework? Why yes, yes I did. 🙂
Get a journal and a pen, write out all the scriptures you can find promising that it is Gods will to give you babies.

It is written:
Psalms 113:9
He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children.Praise ye the Lord.

I’ve done most of the homework for you if you would go back through this weeks blog postings. When you’ve written them all out, begin to speak them out loud. Stay with that word until faith comes. This is building up your faith muscle.

Another helpful hint, download or purchase a “Strongs Concordance” in that you can research a word and it will show you every scripture with that word in it.
Lets go!!!!
2014 is the year we manifest Gods glory upon the earth.

Lets say what we see until we see what we say.

Revelation: God told me ,”until I see it in my hands it’s in my mouth”!!!!!

We have the right to ask

Ask-1. To request; to seek to obtain by words; to petition; with of before the person to whom the request is made.

The act of asking in prayer is to link up with God and partner with the SuperNatural. When we ask of God we become His voice in our generation.

Last we spoke I introduced the idea of asking God for children. I know to some reading, that sounds like a completely foreign idea. Maybe you’re thinking, why would I have to ask for children? I’m supposed to just be able to have children. To be honest that was my train of thinking in the beginning.
That’s when the renewing of the mind comes in. I’m not asking you to do anything more than I had to do myself. Renew my mind. Exchange my thoughts with the very thoughts of God.
Lets take a look at what the word says about asking and the results of us asking.

1 John 5:14
And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

First off, it says this is the confidence.
CON’FIDENCE, n. 1. A trusting, or reliance; an assurance of mind or firm belief in the integrity, stability or veracity of another

Ok, now you know that we can be confident in our asking.
But don’t let asking according to his will scare you, it simply means we ask his word. His word is his will. And yesterday I gave you a ton of scriptures letting you know what the will of God is concerning you having children. So we have to make up in our minds that it is the will of God for “you” to have children. That has got to become real to you!!!!! There are no ifs, and or buts about it. There is absolutely no room for doubt. You can’t say, yeah that may be true for you but not for me. If thats what you are thinking my friend we have a problem. Faith begins where the will of God is known.

1 John 5:15
And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

This scripture is so unbelievably powerful because we know now that when we ask he hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desire.

PETI’TION, n. [L. petitio, from peto, to ask, properly to urge or press.]
1. In a general sense, a request, supplication or prayer; but chiefly and appropriately, a solemn or formal supplication; a prayer addressed by a person to the Supreme Being, for something needed or desired, or a branch or particular article of prayer.

John 14:13
And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

John 16:23
And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.
John 16:24
Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name:ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

Matthew 7:7
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
Matthew 7:8
For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Matthew 21:22
And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
Jesus invites us to ask the Father whatever we have need of. We have access to the throne of God.

Hebrews 4:16
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

John 15:7
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

That’s such an important key to breakthrough, get full of the word of God. Let God’s word become the foundation for every prayer that you pray. You may not be able to just pray right away. I know for me personally some prayers I’ve had to find scriptures and then write out my prayer. Finding out what the word has to say and base every prayer on the word. When we base our prayer on the word, we are starting with the answer. Not praying the problem.
We speak the Rhema of God in partnership with God and it will come to pass.

I tell you all of this so that your faith will arise.
Romans 10:17
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

What I am telling you is going to help develop your prayer life. And you will never walk away from you prayer time wondering if God heard you. You have a right to ask God whatever you have need of.

When we pray we must believe we receive when we pray. And that’s what we will talk about tomorrow. From prayer to manifestation.
Mark 11:24
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

“In prayer you align yourself to the purpose and the power of God. And he’s able to do things through you that he couldn’t do otherwise. For this is an open universe, where something’s are left open contingent upon our doing them. If we do not do them, they will not get done. For God has left certain things open to prayer. Things which will never be done except as we pray. ”

Bareness to Fruitfulness

Disclaimer: The blog is long and full of scriptures, don’t let that scare you. I know we have short attention spans, we live in a microwave society with a drive through mentality but take a few moments sit down grab a cup of coffee allow the word of God to bring healing and deliverance.

This morning I write to mothers whose womb is bare, whether you’ve never conceived, had a miscarriage ( lost your child in the womb) or carried your child to term and your baby was still born.

I to know the heartache of being a mother in mourning. I know the agony of going to the hospital pregnant only to leave with empty arms.
I know the desperation of wanting nothing more than to be a mother. I know the cries in the night when no one is up but you. I know the sadness, anxiety, anger and shame.

My personal story-
I’ve lost two children, both due to ectopic pregnancies. One in 2006 ( in which my tube ruptured and I almost died) and the other in 2012. My journey hasn’t been one of instant deliverance from the tortures in my mind. It has been a process. From 2006 until now 02/10/2014.
I’ve written out my personal testimony in my first book due out this year.

But this morning I’m not writing to you from a place of mourning but joy.
Isaiah 61:3
To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion,
to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning,
the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
that they might be called trees of righteousness,
the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.

For God has truly healed all the brokenness. I can’t tell you exactly when my healing took place, I can only tell you that as I write to you now, I’m healed.
I write to you as a Christian from a view point of faith. My purpose to you today is to encourage you to believe.

And Jesus said, [You say to Me], If You can do anything? [Why,] all things can be (are possible) to him who believes! (Mark 9:23 AMP)
Mark 9:23
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. (KJV)

I don’t care what the doctors have told you. I don’t care what the diagnosis. I don’t care how bleak it may seem right now. I don’t care what your family or friends have told you. But, I do care what “you” believe!!
You see, you have to believe. And sometimes when you decide to believe, you will find that you are standing on an island alone. But don’t you let anyone talk you out of what you believe.

When I first made a decision to believe I had to begin with my desire for children. At the point of understanding it was God who had given me the desire for children I could release my faith for:
Mark 11:24
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Then I had to find out what God had to say about me having children. Once I started studying his word, I found out that he had a whole lot to say. I found so many scriptures about childbirth, conceiving, the fruit of the womb. I was absolutely shocked to find out that it was God’s will for me to have children through my womb. So many people had told me, maybe it’s not Gods will for “you” to have children. Boy am I glad that he didn’t let me believe that lie.

Holy Spirit began to work with me. Yes, Holy Spirit partnered with me in order to get my believing right.
Romans 12:2
And be not conformed to this world:but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Every single one of my thoughts had to be replaced with what God said. Plucking out and pulling down old mentalities was not easy. But it was doable.

From this point I want to share with you some woman in the bible who also shared in the journey of bareness to fruitfulness.
First up lets look at Sarah-
Genesis 11:30
But Sarai was barren; she had no child.
Sarah didn’t always believe that she would become a mother;
Genesis 18:12
Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?
But God got her believing right-
Heb 11:11 Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.
Gen 21:2 For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.

Gen 25:21 And Isaac intreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.

Genesis 29:31
And when the Lord saw that Leah was hated, he opened her womb:but Rachel was barren.
Gen 29:32 And Leah conceived, and bare a son, and she called his name Reuben: for she said, Surely the LORD hath looked upon my affliction; now therefore my husband will love me.

Sampson’s mother
Judges 13:3
And the angel of the Lord appeared unto the woman, and said unto her, Behold now, thou art barren, and bearest not:but thou shalt conceive, and bear a son.

We not only get to read Hannah’s story but we see her soul anguish over not having a child.
1 Samuel 1:19
And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the Lord, and returned, and came to their house to Ramah:and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the Lord remembered her.
1 Samuel 1:20
Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked him of the Lord.

Luke 1:24
And after those days his wife Elisabeth conceived, and hid herself five months, saying,
Luke 1:25
Thus hath the Lord dealt with me in the days wherein he looked on me, to take away my reproach among men.

Luke 1:36
And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age:and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.
Luke 1:37
For with God nothing shall be impossible.
Luke 1:38
And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.

Is your faith beginning to rise? Do you feel yourself wanting to dare and believe?

Lets go deeper. Lets look at some verses that promise children to those who want them.

Psa 127:3 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

I looked up the word heritage- in the Webster’s 1828 online dictionary and the definition blew my mind
1. Inheritance; an estate that passes from an ancestor to an heir by descent or course of law; that which is inherited.

God said children are my inheritance!!!!!!!! And the fruit of my womb is his reward. I don’t know about you but for me, that was great news.

Psalms 127:4
As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man;
so are children of the youth.
Psalms 127:5
Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them:
they shall not be ashamed,
but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

Luke 1:45
And blessed is she that believed:for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.

Psalms 113:9
He maketh the barren woman to keep house,
and to be a joyful mother of children.
Praise ye the Lord.

Exd 23:25 And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
Exd 23:26 There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.

Deu 7:13 And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee.
Deu 7:14 Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle.
Deu 7:15 And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.

Deu 28:4 Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.
Deu 28:11 And the LORD shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers to give thee.

Psa 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Psa 92:14 They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;

Mal 3:11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.

Jer 17:8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit

Eze 36:11 And I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring fruit: and I will settle you after your old estates, and will do better unto you than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

Galatians 4:27
For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not:for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.

Psalms 128:3
Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine
by the sides of thine house:
thy children like olive plants
round about thy table.
Psalms 128:4
Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the Lord.
Psalms 128:5
The Lord shall bless thee out of Zion:
and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem
all the days of thy life.
Psalms 128:6
Yea, thou shalt see thy children’s children,
and peace upon Israel.

Did you know there were so many scriptures relating to this one topic in the bible? And this isn’t even an all inclusive list.
I really beg you to begin your own study and see what you find.

In James 4:2 it says we have not because we ask not. Sometimes the fulfillment of our dreams is just a question away.
James 4:2
, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.

Throughout the word of God, he says to ask.
John 16:24
Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name:ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

What am I saying, even though I desired children I had never asked God for them.
I wrote out a prayer of petition asking God for children, in that prayer I literally prayed his word. From some of the same scriptures I’ve shared with you today. Why?

Jeremiah 1:12
Then said the Lord unto me, Thou hast well seen:for I will hasten my word to perform it.

God watches over his word to perform it. Not my word. He’s looking for me to speak his word out of my mouth out loud in faith.

Thank you for sharing your day with me. There is so much more I wish to write to you and I will. My goal is to write more along these lines to the woman and men who are believing God for their children. If you know anyone who could benefit from my blog please share it with them.
If you need prayer or would just like to talk feel free to email me:

The Shepherd

THE Lord is my Shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield me], I shall not lack.
He makes me lie down in [fresh, tender] green pastures;
He leads me beside the still and restful waters. [Rev. 7:17.]
He refreshes and restores my life (my self);
He leads me in the paths of righteousness [uprightness and right standing with Him–not for my earning it, but] for His name’s sake.
Yes, though I walk through the [deep, sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil; my [brimming] cup runs over.
Surely or only goodness, mercy, and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, and through the length of my days the house of the Lord [and His presence] shall be my dwelling place. (Psalm 23:1-6 AMP)

You all know by now how I like to look up and dissect words. My favorite dictionary has come to be the Webster’s 1828 Online Dictionary. It’s beyond awesome! Why? Because it gives scripture references.
The definition it gave for shepherd is:

1. A man employed in tending, feeding and gaurding sheep in the pasture.

3. The pastor of a parish, church or congregation; a minister of the gospel who superintends a church or parish, and gived instruction in spiritual things.

God and Christ are in Scripture dinominated Shepherds, as they lead, protect and govern their people, and provide for their welfare.

I love this definition. It opens my eyes to Christ being the one who leads, protects, governs and provides for me. After reading this definition, I re-read Psalms 23.

I’m here to tell you that satan, his demons, or nobody else can tell me anything about My God. His record is too Great. I’m forever settled in His love for me and towards me. No more questions. No more doubts. I know His will for me. I understand His purpose/plan for my life.

I encourage you to meditate on Psalms 23. Allow Holy Spirit to breathe on it for you.
Whatever problem or situation you are facing today, know that The Lord is your Shepherd.

There is so much to break down in Psalm 23. Please go and order or download: Discovering the Shepherd by G.E. Johnson. God has given this gifted author such tremendous revelation on this subject.

If you’ve never made Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior pray this prayer out loud with me:
Heavenly Father,
I confess that Jesus is Lord. And I believe in my heart that You raised Him from the dead.
Thank you for coming into my heart, for giving me Your Holy Spirit as You promised, and for being Lord over my life.

That’s it! Welcome to The Body of Christ. You may not feel anything emotionally or physically but trust me, a great miracle just took place in your life.

If you prayed that prayer with me, email me @
There are some materials that I would like to get into your hands. And again, Welcome!!!

There will be times when we have to listen without judgement. Actually lay down what we think and how we feel in order for the person(s) we are ministering to, to encounter the grace of God.
I’ve found that if you’re listening to only respond, you’re not really listening merely hearing with absolutely zero understanding.
Add to that fact if while in a conversation with someone all you can do is think to yourself how you wouldn’t have gotten into that situation or how you would have handled it better, you my friend are hindering the deliverance of a soul.
Handling people is a delicate balance that can only be done correctly when we totally submit to the leadership of Holy Spirit.
Compassion and wisdom must be exercised. Not to mention understanding. To many people are walking around bleeding, battered and bruised. It took me many times to get this walk right. And to be honest, my steps are still taken lightly because I’ve come to realize its not my steps that matter but the one whose footsteps I follow after.
Jesus, himself ministered with compassion. His actual gentleness was evident because of the results.

Scripture references:
John 8:1-11
John 4:4-39

So you don’t drink, smoke,or do drugs
Maybe you are still a virgin and have never been kissed.
But when the gossiper in the office comes to you with tales to tell are your ears open?
Do you repeat what you’ve been told in confidence?
Are you on time to your appointments?
When you go shopping do you take the cart and put it in the right place or do you leave it unattended?
What about that tomato you picked up in produce, what do you do with it when you’re on the frozen food aisle and you’ve changed your mind about purchasing it, do you take it back to produce or leave it somewhere else?
Or when the cashier mistakenly gives you back to much change, when you realize it, do you give it back to her ? Or do you take it as a “blessing” not caring that at the end of the night her till will come up short and she may get into trouble.
How about when you see someone who looks down or discouraged, do you take the time to smile or speak ( which neither cost you anything)
Self righteousness has become a nasty part of born again believers. We often forget that it wasn’t by our good works that we are saved.

Romans 3:22
Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe:for there is no difference:
Romans 3:23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Romans 3:26
To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness:that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

Romans 4:5
But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

1 John 1:8
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

We are praying for a revival to hit the church but every day we are walking past the very ones who need to be revived.
I’m fed up with church as usual. When’s the last time you offered to buy someone something to wear to church instead of criticizing what they wore?
When’s the last time you witnessed to someone who doesn’t look like you? When did we become the very Sadducees and Pharisees that Jesus rebuked?
